Hawaii Developmental Disabilities Division (DDD)
Developmental Disabilities Division (DDD) is under the Hawaii Department of Health, and is the operating agency for the Medicaid 1915(c) Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Hawaii Disability Rights Center
The Hawaii Disability Rights Center is Hawaii’s designated Protection and Advocacy System for people with disabilities. It is also Hawaii’s designated Client Assistance Program for applicants and members of programs funded under the federal Rehabilitation Act.
Hawaii Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC-Hawaii)
Honolulu, Hawaii based advisory panel esablished in support of The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The advisory panel advises the State special education staff regarding the education of all eligible children with disabilities in Hawaii.
Hawaii State Council on Developmental Disabilities
The Hawaii State Council on Developmental Disabilities (DD Council) promotes self-determination for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families by contributing to a coordinated and comprehensive service system that is person-centered and family-directed.
A clearing house of resourceful information specifically pertaining to individuals and their caregivers as related to ASD and other mental health conditions.
