Pacific Autism Center for Education (PACE)
PACE enhances the lives of people impacted by autism through innovation, exceptional education, and compassionate care. PACE vision is a world in which people of all abilities live fulfilled lives. Established in 1989, PACE is dedicated to providing high-quality programs and services that enhance the quality of life for individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities.
Pine Hill School San Jose
A Second Start Learning Disabilities Program, Pine Hill School provides an environment that meets the needs of the whole child. It strives to implement a quality education for students diagnosed with Autism or similar disorders, with an individualized component for students who have been unable to have their needs met in other educational settings. Pine Hill School has two different programs, Newton Learning Center and the Edison Program.
Second Start Program – Pine Hill School
South Monterey, San Jose based Pine Hill School is a non-public school program providing special education to students in Monterey County and surrounding areas. Pine Hill’s academic program is based on advancing our students through a highly personalized academic curriculum, while effectively treating their individual behavior challenges.
Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) Schools
Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is a premier provider of standalone day schools and in-district classrooms in many states. It provides education services for K-12 students who require additional educational and behavioral supports to overcome challenges that impede success in a traditional school setting.
Spectrum Center Schools and Programs
Located in Daly City, the Spectrum Center school offers programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders 3 years old and up. Teaches students who need individualized resources and support the skills needed for a successful, more independent future.
Stanbridge Academy
Founded in 1982 and located in San Mateo, California, Stanbridge Academy is a caring, inclusive K–12 school for students with mild to moderate learning differences and social communication challenges. Stanbridge uses an individualized, whole student approach so that students thrive and develop their academic, social, and emotional capabilities to their fullest potential.
Switzer Learning Center
Founded in 1966, Switzer Learning Center provides highly individualized and responsive educational programs for neurodivergent students. Switzer serves students in grades K-12 (ages 5-22) with learning impairments including: Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), dyslexia, executive functioning difficulties (ADHD), and nonverbal learning disorders (NVLD).
The Bay School
The Bay School, a May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, is a day school located in Santa Cruz, California. The Bay School employs the latest applied behavior analysis treatment and research findings to produce measurable and lasting improvements in the lives of children with autism.
The Burkard School
An independent K-8 school located in San Mateo, California for bright children who need extra support with self-regulation, executive functioning, and/or social-emotional learning in the classroom.
