Allan Cott School for Autism
Allan Cott School for Autism is run by Glenwood since 1974, first school established in Alabama to offer educational and therapeutic services to children with autism. Located on the Sicard Hollow campus, this certified special education program serves both residential and day students ages 6-21 diagnosed with autism and intellectual disabilities.
Great Leaps Learning Center
Great Leaps Learning Center is a school for Autismn and is an outgrowth of Behavior Analysts of Central Alabama (BACA) which has provided home-based applied behavior analysis therapy for children with autism and other disabilities.
Huntsville Achievement School
The school offers individualized attention and a range of specialized programs to meet the unique needs of its students, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The school is known for its low student-to-teacher ratio, specialized programs for dyslexia and ASD, and a supportive, nurturing environment.
The HANDS Program
The HANDS Program (Alabama Autism Assistance Program) located in Birmingham, Alabama, serves children diagnosed with autism and their families. Services provided include one-on-one and small group behavioral therapy, training and consultation services to teen and adult groups, a Kinect sports program, a financial assistance program.
The Horizons School
Based in Birmingham, The Horizons School offers a community-based educational program for young adults with learning disabilities, autism spectrum, and developmental disorders, focusing on successful transition to independent living.
The Learning Tree
The Learning Tree is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational, residential and support services for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, including autism. Residential school services provided in Birmingham, Jacksonville, Mobile, and Tallassee, Alabama.
The Riley Center
Based in Huntsville, The Riley Center provides comprehensive services to children through young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), implementing evidence-based interventions in a supportive environment, also emphasizes training for families and professionals.
A clearing house of resourceful information specifically pertaining to individuals and their caregivers as related to ASD and other mental health conditions.
