AbleFind is a free database of disability related resources in the state of Oregon. The purpose is to connect individuals with disabilities, their families, and the professionals who support them to services within their communities. By consolidating as many resources as possible into one place, they hope to make finding relevant and helpful resources easier and less stressful.
Autism Society of Oregon
Leading organization in Oregon providing resources, education, advocacy on policy matters and support for individuals and families living with Autism. Its goal is to inform, uplift, and connect members of the community, making it easy to find the support for individuals with autism.
Bridgeway House
Bridgeway House is a nonprofit organization that was founded to offer treatments, developmental therapies, enrichment courses, and support to children and families of all income levels with autism and related abilities. Their focus has been developing programs and services in direct response to needs seen in the community that are designed to help this diverse group of children meet the challenges of autism, as well as helping their families with the emotional, financial, and social challenges they face.
Center on Human Development – University of Oregon
Part of the College of Education, the center works to advocate and improve lives for individuals with disabilities with its own Community Advocacy Council (CAC), vital members of the wider disability community lend their voice and expertise to provide guidance on key issues and concerns for those with disabilities.
FACT Oregon
FACT Oregon empowers families, youth, and communities and provide Oregon families with special education support, IEP help, and disability support for childhood through adulthood with personalized support, in-person and virtual trainings, and advocacy and community building.
